The Town of North Rustico issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an update to the Town’s Official Plan and Zoning and Subdivision (Development) Bylaw in the Spring of 2023. Stantec was approved by Council to take on the project and held the first Public Consultation in August 2023 at the North Rustico Lion’s Club. The attendees worked together to provide their vision of the Town for the next five years. Below is a report outlining all the ideas brought forward at that session that will be used by Stantec to form draft policies for the new Official Plan.
